THE NEW BOOK IS HERE!!! TAKE A LOOK AT FLOOD!!!!

The rain does not stop. This is serious!

This new adventure takes the reader inside the animal world to see and feel the enormous effect of significant weather changes. The beautifully crafted and illustrated children’s picture book is centered on events during the floods in 2022, in the Northern Rivers area of eastern Australia.

In her inclusive way, our loveable protagonist Mist, and her loyal friends once again seek to find answers to this damaging problem. The animals are Australian, but the issues relate to animals worldwide.

Although the story is bold and confronting, readers will be heartened by the solutions uncovered and be happy that they can play a part in them. Good habits and adjustments can be made in their own backyards.

This global issue is portrayed in this international collaboration between American author Becca Boucher, Australian illustrator Lucienne Noontil, and Australian publisher Katrina Jeffery, who was actually amidst these harrowing floods of the Northern Rivers.

This team is intent on sharing their love and caring for nature with anyone who will engage with this wonderful children’s picture book series.

You can get involved with The Adventures of Mist website to learn more about the real situation of animal welfare, climate change, the environment, and the importance of healthy ecosystems. There are interactive activities there, and information to make the most of the concepts presented through the stories.
